00:01 In this video I am going to show you how you can easily ban an ebay buyer from participating in any of your auctions, if you are an ebay seller.
00:10 Ebay has a feedback system which I think is kind of unfair. It allows buyers to leave negative feedback for sellers but sellers can't do the same. Let's face it. There are some people out there that no matter what you do you can't make them happy. As an ebay seller, you are bound to run into these people who will eventually leave you negative feedback or neutral feedback. In addition, there are some dishonest ebay buyers that take advantage of the fact that sellers don't want negative feedback so these dishonest buyers will ask for a refund for the dumbest reasons knowing they will get that refund simply because they are afraid of the negative feedback from the buyer.
00:35 So when you get this negative or neutral feedback from an ebay buyer and you don't feel it is warranted, you want to make sure this ebayer can't participate in the purchasing of any of your other items for sale on ebay so you can avoid any future problems. Another thing you should do if you get unwarranted negative or neutral feedback on ebay is request a feedback revision and report the buyer as well.
00:54 In this specific example, I sold a record album to ebayer. The record was around 35 years old and the ebay buyer complained because there was one scratch on the record. Because of that one scratch the ebay buyer gave me neutral feedback. Neutral feedback is not as bad as negative feedback on ebay but reduces the overall percentage of your feedback score so in that respect, neutral feedback is as bad as negative feedback. So I don't want this ebayer to be able to ever purchase from me ever again.
01:20 To ban this ebay buyer you go to the ebay banning page. Paste the username of the ebay member you wish to ban in the textbox. Each ebay buyer you wish to ban must be separated by a comma.
01:55 When you have finished adding ebay buyers you wish to ban in the banning textbox, press the Submit button to save it. You have no banned that ebay buyer from being able to purchase anything from you in the future.
